I and two other friends decided to enter the 2008 Abalone cook off in Noyo.
I was awarded one of the second place awards! Next year I will win the trip to Mexico!
We served abalone, shallot, jalapeno, corn dogs (minus the dog) with a spicy aioli. Everyone loved it. It was a ton of work, but we had a lot of fun.
I was hoping somone from the board might have pics.

Sorry Tino, I was hoping to find some pics online. I didnt have a chance to take any breaks during the entire cook off.
Our best customer was filming us for the food network, and my buddy and I were interviewed and photographed when we got out of the water that morning by the LA Times.

Tell them next year to put it in the newspaper. There is hardly anyone that lives in Casper and FT bragg.
