FINALLY!!
Diving locally is hard because of the nature of the Bay - silty bottom with lots of river input = crap vis. Shore diving is even worse.
However, sometimes we get a window. That was today. I had my first cray (lobster) before quittin' time and got to enjoy some incredible diving with dive buds from the club. Spectacular day.

what is that hanging between your legs? is it your stringer?

Yeah, it's attached on the clip between the crays. Kinda odd placement, I know. The stringer is actually an old pen with a hole drilled in it.
Thanks Gris - I was also out last weekend to Bare Island and we got some fish and paua (abalone). No pictures, though.

Good job Kolt!
I have been to Hawkes Bay, New Zealand to visit relatives there who own a thorobred horse stud farm. Beautiful country man!
New Zealand is wonderful. The country has forests like Germany, fiords like Norway, mountains like Switzerland and more sheep than people.
