Yup....that's what we need around here....a few shots of cold weather to drop the ocean temperature a few degrees and change the fish mix. :bringit:

Yup....we need it in advance of the Key Largo Open, but of course not during the KLO weekend. :nono:

Fingers crossed! :chill: :chill: :chill: :chill:

Yup... the temp dropped alright. ;)

Now my fishing expert friends say we could use a little help from a swell to move the fish off the bottom and travelling around. :yawwn:

the 25-30kt winds i woke up to are not making me happy.

although i have some inshore patches that i can probably suffer through....assuming vis is more than 5ft.....since my gun is over 7ft long :(

Good news! :toast:

The water temperature is dropping which should help bring in the fish.

Check out the water temperature trend at the Ft. Pierce buoy over the past 24 hours:

It has dropped from almost 77 to 75 degrees in the past 12 hours. :yay:

That is a good trend for fishing around there.

Let's hope water temp falls elsewhere too. :knees:

The water temp keeps on its steady decline which is great for the fishing!

At the Ft. Pierce buoy I am checking, it dropped from 75.0 to 74.3 degrees in the past 12 hours. That temp is measured at the surface I believe, so I'm thinking it is somewhat cooler down below.

Another great sign is that the mackerel are showing up near Palm Beach Inlet according to my commercial buddies. :thumps:
