Got a late start to the day & was met w/ light west winds & a glassy ride out to the wall. Channel side had about 2' Viz. Ocean side was a bit more effective w/ 3-5'. Harvested 3 togs to 17" again. Saw a bunch more, but it was just too murky. No stripers to be found. My buddy wanted to do some sea duck hunting, so we ended up with the redneck surf & turf.

Coen-Sea duck hunting is just like marsh/river duck hunting, including the 3 barrels of decoys. You can't shoot all of 'em, there are some protected species. You get a book to identify who's what when you get your license. I don't think they taste that great, flounder & tog will top just about any mid-atlantic game around. As far as why, it's more of a sport & challenge just like spearing.
Patty-Looks like waves again churning up the sea. I'll keep you posted for any future runs.
NJ-Launched out of Roosevelt. Towards sundown, it was glass all the way to Cape May.
