Spear Club

Any of You Uper GulfCoasteans like to get in on the ground floor of this new club?
Don't even have a name yet.
We will be having a meeting in the next few weeks.
The purpose of this Club is (of course) to shoot fish also to build reefs, bring shooters together, to build better tournaments and don't forget social events.

There is supposed to be a scuba club by the name of "Scubaholics" centered in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach/Valparaiso area. Ther are having a meeting in Crestview this evening. If I can find out the time and location, I will attend. I'll bring up your interests (reference your post), see what the response is, and inform you by adding to this thread.

Gary- If you have nay questions when forming the club, please feel free to ask them. I am an officer in the St. Pete Underwater Club and a member of the Florida Skin Divers Association. We are always happy to see new clubs forming.

Had members of two relatively new local dive clubs at the meeting this evening. There was a presentation about artificial reefs so, of course, they are interested in supporting the artificial reef program here in NW Florida. There was limited interest in spearfishing, lots of interest in social events, no interest in tournaments.
