I would like to congratulate all of the participants for a job well done. Thank you to everyone who made this a great turnout and success for the first year of this tournament.

All of the thanks go to Estelle Pasquier, Dan Biggs, Randy Dock, Frank McCallister, Scott Hurley and Dave Graham for making the weigh-in what it is. Without your help and dedication the weigh-in would not run as well as it does.

Many thanks and kudos go to Tony Grogan for putting all of these tournaments on and truly dedicating yourself to promoting this great sport we love.

are those weights for best boat correct, because me and travis on team Young Guns had 79.5lbs together Hi Jenna, congrats on winning the women's division!

Here is the way the best boat calculation is done:

Minimum of 3 divers weigh fish.
Take the average score of all three registered divers and that gives you your best boat score. If you had 8 divers on board, you would take the top three registered divers and do the same calculation.

You actually had 4 divers registered under "Young Guns" so you would have been eligible to win, however your best boat score was 26.6875.

Travis Stokes - 49.9375
Jenna Moeller - 30.125
Taylor Nelson - 0
Ryan Shapiro - 0

Total of 80.0625 / 3 = 26.6875 points.

Nice job and we're glad you and your team participated and made a nice showing! Congrats to Travis for winning best Junior as well!
