Here's a few shots from a Turkey Day swim out the back here in Indonesia. Didn't bring home the beast, but good fun and beautiful conditions.

Nice Spanish! I'd love to get to Indo one day. It'll be hard not swinging in to Vanuatu....
That gun looks like an Andre rear-handle. Haven't seen that model before. Pretty cool. :thumps:

Nice fish you got there! What is the best time of year for a diving/sightseeing trip. I'm thinking about heading to Indo next year for a few weeks, any suggestions would be great.

Anytime mid March-Mid Dec is good to visit. If you like surf.. it's best around May-Sept, but the water is also cooler and rougher..
That's an Andre Custom, Andre is an old friend and he let's me design my own guns..

Right on Fred. That would be cool to go with someone experienced in traveling to Indo. Or at least talking to him about it.

Added a different flavour to the plate.. I don't take these too often, but about once a year we make a big Bannana Leaf feast..

Yep, I'm in Bali. Personally I do a lot of shorediving.. and it can be quite rough on account of the Surf and Reef impact zone. But sometimes we go on a boat trips, either local dugout canoe or larger more seaworthy vessels. There is good surfing here as well.

great man, just gotta start saving and look at resorts for the wife, i can sleep anywhere. So would my 120 teak gun be good, or should i bring the 130 -140 cm Rob Allen? So what part of Bali are you from? I want to hit the big doggies, Gt, and some of those sweetlips and Emperors you got there!

Awesome to see this thread! I'm heading out to Bali in May, primarily to surf, but I want to spear really, really bad! I'll p.m. you guys. I can't imaging going to Indo and NOT do some spearing!
