For any of you spearos looking for a kayak, this is a good option. I first saw this at the West Marine being rigged up for someone. It is a good quality inflatable that has a bracket for an outboard. It has plenty of room for a tank or two as well. Sale price at WM was $599.

Built7,
I love to yak/freedive/spearfish. You may have solved many yak/spearin problems for me by posting this find. Thank you, thank you.:thumps:
I will check one out tomorrow. Hopefully this one will NOT be a POS like almost all other inflatable yaks.
Thanks
hau

PS. Did it look tough enough to freedive/spearfish off of?

That is why I posted it. It looks awesome. Like an inflatable zodiac. Very tough. And the fact that you can stick a 4 horse motor on there is a cool feature. When done, it will roll up nicely and fit right into your hatchcack! $599 is a great deal!!

make sure to use a credit card when you purchase it.

that way you can dispute the fact, if they won't return it.

I was looking at this Kayak with a motor option a few years ago and decided on a Zodiak at the time. I don't know how it is in other states but in the state of CA anything with a motor needs to be registered and launched at a designated boat launch, no beach launching unless its a beach that allows it. When I found that out I decided if thats how its going to be I might as well get the real thing.

Just something to be aware of.

You can meake navy seal like stealth launches! 4hp is tiny.

I saw this yak. It is well built. 10 psi working pressure. Inflatable keel...

I have the sevylor svx2020 with a 3.5hp motor. Its a great dive platform for up to two people. I would say the sportfisher is better though because it doesn't have a worthless dive hatch you will ever use. I can get about 10 mph out of mine by myself, not bad for a tiny 2 stroke.

Gotta ditto this post. Have been in the "boat" with him and it is a great way to get to outside reefs. Even with 2 adults the boat is great. Just gotta watch the fish fins when throwing them into the boat :stupid:
