Pennsylvania- crossbow legal and speargun not?

Apparently pa fish comission made it legal to use a crossbow and not a speargun? I am waiting for a phone call about the matter:confused: They might be waiting for more people to email and call about the issue. Please call your local fish commission.

I tried using a crossbow under water ONCE. I don't recommend it!

Very intersting.... a crossbow but not a spear gun. I can picture all the guys with compound bows wanting in on the action to.

Fred, would having flights on the bolt have anything to do with not good for underwater use?
