Yeah...last paragraph, pg. 1. The Chinese are to be faulted, because they are not willing to spend like their trade partners, so they are at fault for this mess. Not like the US government hasn't overspent like money was water, and not like we as a people bear any responsinbility for never saving for a rainy day.

So, if China runs up a huge debt, they will be just like us, and that will make it all better for the US???!!! This writer is so fuggin' stoned, it amazes me that people graduate 3rd grade, let alone college. Other than this little stab at the Chinese, the article was very good.

Now they offer "real estate tours" to rich chinese to come to california, arizona, & florida so they can buy up real estate. Can't blame them, I wouldn't want to live in china either without a chemical weapons suit and gas mask.

Besides, we owe them a trillion dollars or so, so its not like they don't own our asses any way. Is mandarin hard to learn? Is it easier than learning Saudi Arabic? I need to be able to speak to our new overlords.

Any one else see something weird in a communist country having to loan an ass load of money to the USA so we could fight a war against a bunch of capitalists?

That's the funny part. Capitalism didn't win. Communism did. All it had to do was borrow a little of the capitalism playbook, and there they were:
"Hold on, keep working together. America is spending itself blind right now. Just keep your mouths' shut and keep working for a few more years.
