Hey guys,

I'm thinking of visiting a friend in July of this year. I'm used to the Central/Northern California coast so cold water/air are not a problem for me. Do you have any suggestions? Would any of you guys be in need of a boat ho or someone to chip in on gas?

Or would you REALLY recommend a trip later like November or December?

Nate

she lives in Sydney. I was thinking of coming out in November or December of this year.

On a good year Sydney starts getting its good water (and fish) in January. The best months are March/April. The warm, clear water hits the northern areas of NSW earlier. If you come in December you may have to travel 500 miles to get onto some good fish.

March/April gives you the best NSW will have to offer. Yellowtails on most headlands up and down the coast. Mulloway taken from south of Sydney right up to the Queensland boarder. Cobia and Spanish Mackerel in the northern waters. Mahi Mahi on most FADs up and down the NSW coast. Wahoo on some off shore reefs.
