Going to do some travelling this summer and am looking to spear as much as I can. Also going to Brunei but have already read that it is illegal there. I have tentative stops in Jakarta; Cebu, PI; Pattya Beach; Okinawa and Malaysia(not sure where yet in Malaysia)

I have a brand new Wong Super Magnum Prototype as well as my GR gun that I'm bringing with me, and a decent breath hold(2min to 2:20 working dive) and depth(80-90 working but can hit 100FSW). PFI Intermediate graduate as well. Can get endorsements from some well respected Hawaiian divers to verify my skill(Huge safety thing, not trying to brag in any way shape or form)

Looking for someone to help get me on the water in the coming months. Feel free to PM me and I can give some more details or answer any questions you may have....

Spearfishing is very illegal in Okinawa, although it can be done as long as you don't post your pictures on spearboard for everyone to see! I noticed you are from Oahu, is it as fished out there as here in Guam?

We get plenty of fish in Oahu. You just have to work a little harder and it really helps to know the right people. And for that I am very fortunate.... I didn't know spearfishing was illegal in Okinawa. I know there are a lot of Okinawa spearos on Spearboard, I wonder if they know?
