Weather is shaping up to be real nice (2 foot or less, high of 72) and the fish are in close!! :thumps:

We'll be at the Ft. Desoto ramp tomorrow morning no later than 7 am to start registration. We’ll have a quick Captain’s Meeting about 7:20 and the competition will begin at 7:30. I’m going to pick up an air horn to simulate a shotgun start just to make sure all the Columbia shirts are awake and know that we’re there :D

If at all possible please print out the registration form (last page) from this link (http://www.******************.com/showthread.php?t=11054) and have it filled out and signed for the morning, this will just facilitate the morning registration. There will be plenty on site in case you forget. Remember that this is a Calcutta-style competition so registration is CASH ONLY. The winning pot will solely be based on the number of registered.

Capt. Bill with Aquatic Obsessions Dive Shop (http://www.aodive.com/) has graciously donated two (2) $25 gift certificates to the shop. The top shooter and the last place shooter will each take one. We have also been given a couple goodies from Ray Odor (http://www.spearfishing.cc/) that will also be handed out as random prizes. Tomorrow's weather is looking stellar (stole that word from Screen Name :p), 2 foot or less, SE winds 5 knots, mid 70's, should be like a pond out there. :thumbup: The water temp has dropped which will have pushed those fish even further closer to shore and will have the big jacks stacked up on the wrecks and local springs. Last night I made a 75 foot floatline for my polespear for only $25. If anyone is interested in making one just let me know and I’ll be more than happy to help you out, even if its tomorrow morning.
