Pacific City

I have heard that PC is a good spot for some spear fishing. Down on the water near the big dune hill where all the boats launch from. Has anyone been down there to check it out. As soon as I build my gun I would like to go down and try a couple of dives. One guy at a dive shop told me to do it with a boat. I don't have a boat, nor the money for a boat. Was just thinking about going from shore, any thoughts. Thanks

you dive much in oregon? I'm going to school in eugene. I was thinking of heading to florence once it warms up. Do you know any good dive spots in oregon?

I talked to a guy who works in a dive shop in tigard. He had said that Pacific City down near the jetty where the boats launch is a good spot. He also said cape look out can be good for getting shell fish. I am starting to make my gun so hopefully it will be done soon. Let me know if you go out as well.

I lived in Portland for two years and never dove once. Surf is pretty sweet though. If you have free time and want to travel a bit I'll take you out down here? I'll be back in NorCal this summer. I As for Oregon I'm down to explore some new grounds.

I 'll make some phone calls to some friends in the area and keep both of you posted.
