Blue Water 2-20, 2-21

I am going to be in Honolulu 2-20 and 2-21, extending a business trip. Any hints on a good spearfishing charter outfit. I would rather not dive by myself but don't want a crowd.

I have been dreaming about shooting a Wahooooo. Are there any around this time of year!!!!!

I'm in Honolulu and try to target trophy fish from my PWC, but only have started and have not been able to consistently find the monsters yet.

Too pricey for a public school teacher, but this is the only one I know of on Oahu. Kris, the store owner is a pretty good guy to deal with. I've never dealt with Momi, the boat captain though.

Greetings hawaii divers,
I got to get into the water yesterday. It was NOT COLD. I just went for a swim off the beach. No game fish that I could identify. A couple larger fish that were on there way out to deeper water that I did not get a good look at, THEY WERE MOVING!!!!

One turtle and one eal.

I also stopped by the local dive shop west of pearl city. Lots of nice gear.

Right now is a great time for Onos in Hawaii. I'm not sure about Oahu but there is a bunch of good places to shoot Ono from shore on the Big Island.

Look for water 30-60 fathoms deep off a point. This time of year it should hold Onos, especially in the morning. Go with a buddy for safety. If there is current, there should be some Ono's hanging around. Local knowledge is the key if you can find someone to help you out.
