2 month dry spell over! 1-5-03 Charleston. SC

35 miles offshore 100' of water. Dove 2 dives in the same spot and never went further than 20' from the anchor. 3 grouper, 4 hogs, And our limit of 7-8# lobsters. I was heartbroken back at the boat when my stringer popped open and my ~30 grouper got off on the first dive.
I really need to get one of those damn ss guns. I spent way too much time reloading my carbon fiber gun. Anyone got a used 52 for sale??

Tell us about the vis and water temp. Looks like you guys have some pretty good diving up there. If you're really bummed about giving back the 30 pounder, just think about how the Giants feel! Besides, I've found that your fish can grow larger if you have no photos to prove it! :D

Had about 35-40' vis. Temp on the surface was 58. The grouper that came off the stringer was a nice one. Really broke my heart when i saw he was gone.
