I have space for 2-3.
If the weather stays 2-4' or better we go!
Last week we show some activity at 40' . We also dove 60-85' but not that many things there. Vis was good at all depths.

I have a 27' world Cat twin Honda 130's, sweet ride / cruise around 27 mph. Location Tiera Verde (S. St.Pete). We leave from there.
Get together around 7:00 am, 2 tanks 120cf (we can pull 3 dives each). One on the boat the rest in the water diving.

I have caught plenty of fish in the past so I like to take it easy. This way I get the chance to enjoy the spear fishing as well as the dive.

What kind of certification do you have, how long have you been diving?
(I have a few instructor level certifications/ spear fish for 30 years dive for 20+).

What kind of diving you like? Where would you like to go?

Been certified since I was 15 (1989) and been diving ever since. Certification level is advanced nitrox, same with my father. Been on a number of the charters on SB and met quite a few people. I have been spearing about a year now and my dad has been spearing for about 10 years.

We would be coming up from Fort Myers, so I might need directions. Time is no problem!

I have your phone number, so I can drop you a line later tonight.

We just like to get fish, mainly grouper, snapper, hogs. Hard bottom, ledges, wrecks, whatever, just the fish. :)

I have Advanced Open water and around 200 dives. I have been out with biggsy before. He will tell you. If you need a reference, ask Dive4Blood. He will vouch for me. I go out on JR 2 a lot. give me your number and Ill call you tonight.

I am up around 250 dives myself. Half of those in the last two years.

ok, you convinced me!

I have numbers.
I think we should stay close as the fish seem to be 30-50'.
Mexican pride (40+ miles) is kind of far for 2-4' weather predictions.

Thanks for the kind words TropicalDiver!

BIGGSY, his father, ZDS3488 and myself wil be getting together for some great fun this Saturday.

I am looking forward to meet all of you and especially that young (and from what it seems) highly qualified spearo who very much reminds me of myself at a younger age.

(Taking about age: I accept birthday wishes as today, April-Fools-Day, is my Big ?0 th bi-day.) :D

With your personality and temperment, you'll still be spearfishing at 70! Happy B-day.....

Make sure to put'em in the boat for me on Saturday. (I'll be out on Sunday) Seems like there are still some larger fish in the shallow stuff like a few weeks back. Good luck and post a report.
