GOD DOES NOT WANT ME TO ****ING DIVE ANYMORE! My truck was broken into right outside the door of A. O. yestserday. These guys were complete idiots because they had no idea what they were doing but grabbed what was easy. they even left my uwatec nitrox comp sitting right there in plain sight but they stole my damn shorts and t shirts. There was so many items but i will list a few for people to look for in the goddamn flea markets or pawn shops/ if you find these things call me or pm me and i will reward you. For all you lovers of dive spots they got my gps. yes it has a LOT of wrecks and numbers. it is a gps map 175. They got my new nitec3 comp. this is a yellow triple gas computer. they got powerheads, bullets, knives, wetsuit, pemm rod and reel, and my goddamn cell phone. and for those of you that know me you know that is more important than air. so.. i am putting this post in hope some dive shop operator or one of you guys meets these black gentle men in their late 30's driving a piece of shit green sedan and will call me or pm me.

That really sucks. They probably won't even know what some of that stuff does, so checking with pawn shops might be your best bet. Also, keep an eye on eBAY.

WATCH THE PAWNSHOPS!!!! Get out your yellow pages and check the shops in the area. The deadbeats never go far to unload the stuff. They are just looking for some dough to load the crack pipe. I had all of my fishing tackle stolen from me about 3 years ago. 2 weeks later it showed up at the pawn shop less than .25 miles away. City of Tampa police found it for me, and I owe them big for that.

Both my Grandaddy D4P (Dive4Platelets) and Uncle D4H (Dive4Hemoglobin) once said bad luck comes in threes. Based on that assumption, to proactively get the third piece out of the way, let a dusky shark take a sizeable yet nonlethal bite out of you the next time you go diving. Perhaps strapping a butterflied filleted little tunny to your body may facilitate that outcome. I have a laminated PADI table that you can borrow which would be a good substitute to the Nitek3.

Thieves are the scourge of the ****ing earth. And they are lazy. So if I were you, I'd call all the Pawn Shops in a 20 mile radius of the crime scene and offer a "keep your eyes peeled" or even a reward to get your GPS back. Ebay is also a good bet too, if they aren't outright crack smokers. I'll agree with JohnH on this one, the perpetrators sound too ****ing stupid for eBay.

My dive buddy recognized a 9/0 electramate on ebay stolen from a friend of ours a couple of months prior. I was able to set up a 'sting', as it turned out it was a pawn shop who had bought it and was selling it on ebay. Police confiscated all his stolen shit, which was there, and it was all recovered, even 4 months after it happened.

Man I sure hope the rest of your year is the best you've ever had after all this crap. When I was in school, I had everything I owned stolen from my room, including a brand new Cannibal surf board, shaped 2 days prior. AUUUGHHH!!! But that was when I didn't own anything of real value...
