GOD DOES NOT WANT ME TO ****ING DIVE ANYMORE! My truck was broken into right outside the door of A. O. yestserday. These guys were complete idiots because they had no idea what they were doing but grabbed what was easy. they even left my uwatec nitrox comp sitting right there in plain sight but they stole my damn shorts and t shirts. There was so many items but i will list a few for people to look for in the goddamn flea markets or pawn shops/ if you find these things call me or pm me and i will reward you. For all you lovers of dive spots they got my gps. yes it has a LOT of wrecks and numbers. it is a gps map 175. They got my new nitec3 comp. this is a yellow triple gas computer. they got powerheads, bullets, knives, wetsuit, pemm rod and reel, and my goddamn cell phone. and for those of you that know me you know that is more important than air. so.. i am putting this post in hope some dive shop operator or one of you guys meets these black gentle men in their late 30's driving a piece of shit green sedan and will call me or pm me.
cell: 727-576-0633 (gotta buy a new one today)
myabe i do need to quit diving and take up flats fishing. what the hell does a snook look like anyway.

Damn, sorry to hear that! I hope you get your stuff back.
First you get shot, now you get robbed. Just let me know when you want someone to come over and kick you in the nuts repeatedly. That seems about the one thing missing!

That really sucks. They probably won't even know what some of that stuff does, so checking with pawn shops might be your best bet. Also, keep an eye on eBAY.

There's nothing I hate more, than a POS thief! With any amount of luck, they'll cme back for more.;)

Sorry about your luck Dude. Thievin' bastards hit my boat a few months ago. That's exactly why John's Pass is the only number stored in my GPS and Loran. This sounds like a case of adding insult to injury !

I keep GPS #'s with a program called EASYGPS. That way you always have a copy elsewhere. Check it out. www.easygps.com
Sorry for your luck, Chris. I would set up a search on Ebay to email you if anything matching what was stolen is listed.

The rest of the year has got to be awesome for you Chris after going through this crap. :(

That's ****ed up, Chris. Damn...

WATCH THE PAWNSHOPS!!!! Get out your yellow pages and check the shops in the area. The deadbeats never go far to unload the stuff. They are just looking for some dough to load the crack pipe. I had all of my fishing tackle stolen from me about 3 years ago. 2 weeks later it showed up at the pawn shop less than .25 miles away. City of Tampa police found it for me, and I owe them big for that.
EBAY? them ****ers don't know how to spell EBAY. Can you believe they got the internet on computers these days???
If I find your GPS, I promise I won't look at any of the numbers and I will return it promptly. ;)

Maybe the dumb asses will decide to play with your powerhead and wind-up shooting themselves! That would kick ass. I can just see one of them in their hopped up state of mind loading it and poking his buddy with it. If there is any justice in the world, that would happen!

Financial Advis., give me a call on my cell. I just tried calling you (forgot your phone got ripped off) and got the disconnected message.

Catch'em, Hang'em then Burn'em
May their payback be an exploding crack pipe in the eye!

keelhaul the bastards!! hmmm ya know i believe that there is police sub station in that plaza?
Sorry to hear about your loss :(

That's butal my brother! No wonder your line was disconnected when I called you.
Both my Grandaddy D4P (Dive4Platelets) and Uncle D4H (Dive4Hemoglobin) once said bad luck comes in threes. Based on that assumption, to proactively get the third piece out of the way, let a dusky shark take a sizeable yet nonlethal bite out of you the next time you go diving. Perhaps strapping a butterflied filleted little tunny to your body may facilitate that outcome. I have a laminated PADI table that you can borrow which would be a good substitute to the Nitek3.
Seriously though let me know if I can help with anything!!!

Sucks...you will never feel more violated than when you get ripped off. POS thieves....hope you guys find out who did it and "take the matters into your own hands"....street justice sounds good to me.

Man, can it possibly suck any worse than that. Please, please tell me you had all those numbers backed up in some way. I will watch the Pawn shops in this county. Let us know when you get a new cell.
01-07-2003, 04:49 PM
I'll keep an eye out for your stuff.......
01-07-2003, 04:56 PM
Sorry to hear about that, nothing worse than a thief.Let me know if you find out where they live.
HAVE POWERHEAD,WILL TRAVEL.
Maybe you can set up a crack lick up outside to lure them back for a stone shot?

Thieves are the scourge of the ****ing earth. And they are lazy. So if I were you, I'd call all the Pawn Shops in a 20 mile radius of the crime scene and offer a "keep your eyes peeled" or even a reward to get your GPS back. Ebay is also a good bet too, if they aren't outright crack smokers. I'll agree with JohnH on this one, the perpetrators sound too ****ing stupid for eBay.
My dive buddy recognized a 9/0 electramate on ebay stolen from a friend of ours a couple of months prior. I was able to set up a 'sting', as it turned out it was a pawn shop who had bought it and was selling it on ebay. Police confiscated all his stolen shit, which was there, and it was all recovered, even 4 months after it happened.
Man I sure hope the rest of your year is the best you've ever had after all this crap. When I was in school, I had everything I owned stolen from my room, including a brand new Cannibal surf board, shaped 2 days prior. AUUUGHHH!!! But that was when I didn't own anything of real value...
May the rest of your year find calm seas, big fish, easy livin, and free beer. You deserve it bro.
01-07-2003, 06:06 PM
Leave some bait the low life looters will be back and get them then but ****in good!! I think I'll get my dive gear ins. Thats got to hurt. sorry.Hope your doing better though! see ya

For $500 I'll hunt them down and snuff them for you.
