View Full Version : A Regular Day at the Office with JP
Had the pleasure to go out with one of the best unknown Freediving spearos yesterday morning. No curious fish spearing here. No trophy fish swimming up to you waiting to get blasted, no gingerly Hogs swimming half-a-- begging to go to the cooler. This was work, Black Groupers, one of the more skittish fish on the reefs.
Pics speak for themselves. All taken between 45-75 feet. No speedos this time. Enjoy and Dive Safe!

I hope to be able to dive with guys of that caliber one of these days. Bet you learn tons of shit just watching the guy.

Big beautiful spooky blacks! I'd be thrilled to shoot any one of those fish - let alone four. Very nice.

Those are some nice looking blacks! It is very difficult to stalk and shoot these fish. If they don't get stoned, they take off like a freight train! Nice shooting RJ.

Rolando, you should become his agent...That guy is one heck of a shooter...I remember his last picture here with his whole dock covered with big fish.

Wow! Looking forward to diving with him next week! Glad he is on our team. The thing I most want to see is him shooting with that pneumatic gun. I like the sound they make.
Serious footnote on the pic, so that it doesn't get erased...he is a commercial diver who does it for a living.

If you have to work hard for fish, they may as well look like that. I know how hard it is to get tricky blacks at that depth.
