Hey folks, I have some people coming from out of state this week that want to go spearfishing. There are 3 of them and I have 1 more, there are 2 spots open on the boat. I haven't updated the website, but I am dropping the prices a bit. The 7-4 trip price is now $100 and the offshore paddy hopping trip will be $150 for the day. Anyway, 2 spots open. Wish you were looking for someone on Tuesday or Wednesday. What time would you be back on Thursday? Is the paddy hopping on a different boat?

We will be back at 4 PM on Thursday. I was thinking of Wed or Thur and Thur just seemed to work out better. Then I just remembered today that Wed is my daughter's 4th birthday and we are taking her to Disneyland.

Are these two different trips? Is the paddy hopping trip different than the 7-4? What will each consist of?

Yeah, you're right. The 7-4 trip is nearshore and the offshore or "paddy hopping" trip will be 5:30 to 5:00. Both trips include the same ammenities, the only difference is the price. $100 for inshore trips and $150 for offshore. Everything is on the website. Only thing is I haven't updated it, yet, so the new prices and trip designation isn't there.

No. I haven't heard anything remotely close to fish being under kelps, yet. The only way I would do a trip to look for kelps is if someone chartered the boat and that is all they wanted to do. When I am fishing my traps, I am about 4 miles offshore and the water looks pretty good, but it is still between 58 and 60 degrees. The only reason I mentioned that part was to talk the new price change for my website that I still keep forgetting to update.
