The realtors are jerking me around so bad its ridiculous. If you guys down there can find me a house to rent a 3 bedroom minimum, on or near Big Pine I will hand off the sweetest mutton snapper number I ever found in Hawks Channel. Ill even drive us out there to shoot em' up. We hammer the big muttons there. Had 4 over 14 pounds my last day there.

Hey check out www.vrbo.com (Vacation rental by owner) I had the same problem when I was looking for a house in Tavernier for June. One of the member told me to check out vrbo and I was able to find hundred of listing and the house at a good deal. For a full week only $ 1000.00 with dock and room for 6 peple, good luck.

Great now I found a house that My girlfriend wants me to rent when "we" go on "our" vacation to the Keys (which I had told her was out of our price range). I hope you are Happy Wopster. Fortunately having my own dock for my other lady will mean that I never have to spend any time with my girl at all!

Thats a really good site that I hadnt seen before. Ive put in a request to reserve one of those houses. If you're around there in August let me know and we'll do some shootin'. Im there for the month and my friends, clients, and wife (in that order) come and go so Ive got plenty of spare time for freediving.

Sorry PatMyGreen I made the same mistake when I told my girlfriend about the site. The good thing is when I restore my boat I accidently forgot to install a toilet so she really doesen't like to stay on the boat too much.

I am glad you were able to find a house. I agree with you on the real estate peckerheads, they kept telling me that houses down there are only rented on a monthly basis and my only choice was a hotel room, when one of the spearboard member gave me that site and I talked to the owner of the house I found out that only few Islands are monthly. We will be there in June from the 12-19 that is my bachelor party.

Ed,We'll be down for August as well.I have used Coldwell Banker Shmidtt realtors for 7 years straight.We stay in Little Torch,oceanside.Less than $1000 a week for a 2/2 nice size,concrete dock and lockable room downstairs for gear.

Ive used them the last few years too but they dont have much for 3 to 4 bedrooms open for the month of August. Most of the places dont.cant rent by the week. I think Ive got one lined up.
