Hey guys, you all are very nice and I thank you for your warm welcome. Hopefully we will have some good times asnd share some crazy stories.

The lift bags actually work pretty well but unless the boat picks them up as soon as they pop up, you can pretty much bank on the fish being hit on the way up or at the surface.

I think the other spearos on the trip kinda freaked out when first Eric shot his fish and then even worse when I shot that monster of mine. I swear guys, it was one of those shots you dream about. I remember thinking right before i shot him, please lord let this shaft turn off the lights because if not, I am in for the ride of a lifetime with this guy. He seemed at least my size and im 6'1" so you can imagine how i felt shooting that monster with two very inquisitive bulls circling nearby.

However, it was the best way to test the lift bags and they actually do work very well. Ed, I think I am going to go with your suggestion for the powerhead setup you suggested and Jhon, I got your mail and ill send you that estimate I promised tomorrow.

Meantime, why dont we plan a meeting somewhere out by wherever you guys like and I am sure Eric and I will come down and we can go kill something...... even if its a cat....

Finally, have any of you guys ever used a Kitto speargun????

I am on the fence about one but $1250 is lots of money !!!! I mostly use Riffe Hawaiian, No ka oi and the island for the big stuff.

For reefs I use the omer master or a 2 band rob allen. They all work for their particular situations. If anyone wants to shoot any of these guns, please let me know and ill bring them over and you can see what theyre like. As you can see, im pretty sociable but shy as hell in person........Unless were going to kill something, then I become medieval!!!!!

again, thanks for the welcome you bunch of mad scientists!!!!!
