Did you REALLY think you were gonna find a Megladon? Or were you guys giggling behind the scenes the whole time knowing full well you were chasing whale sharks?

The History Channel Rocks. :D
When do I get to do my paid vacation to Baja to look for Whale Sharks?
Seeing Mackfish (Eric) and Dale on the History Channel was great.
You guys needed to incorporate some spearfishing/chumming in there though.
I heard that is what brings in the really big sharks.:thumps:

Chumming with big dead seals always gets the big sharks around

For real Ofer, I never free dive Lobos. Those sea lions are freaked out and I have found sea lions dead on shore missing parts with big bite marks out of them. I would bet if we did chum blood there we would find some whites.

Remember, me and Scott never said we were chasing a Megaladon. We were just looking for the biggest shark we could find....Although the reality of me seeing whale sharks out there about 85% of the time did cross my mind...:D
Thanks to everyone who took the time to check out the show. I appreciate it, the more ratings the better chance of getting more work.
For those of you who did not like the show, remember its for ENTERTAINMENT purposes only.
As far as Whale Sharks go, at the end of one of the days, the pilot Don Connelly walked over to me with a beer.
"Man you guys freaked me out jumping in with that shark, it was almost as big as the plane.."
I said
"No big deal, it was just a whale shark...."
He replied...
"No, after I saw whale sharks from the air I can tell the difference. The shark you guys jumped in on and could not find was a long grey shape with a sharp pointy front. The whale shark had a box head. You guys are lucky..."
Thats when I realized that spotting huge sharks from the air and jumping on them is a flawed theory. I really dont believe that Whale sharks are the only big sharks in the area. Something eats sea lions at lobos island and its not a whale shark.

Man! beautiful location. Those drop offs had me scared for you cats. I could feel the sharkiness just looking at the environment. Fun show though.
BTW next time you do a show call me my boat is a shark magnet and it'll be easier to roll off the transom and more room to store shit but I can't compete against triple V8's :D:D
Congratulations on 1000 posts:thumps:

Great aerials and enjoyable show to watch. I can't wait to see how many people want to book a trip to Puertecitos, stay at the Hyatt (Dale,s castle), land at the airport and see Whale sharks. It should do wonders for Nati booking up the castle (command post). Good job Dale !!!
