You might want to add links to Soundview Scuba (http://www.soundviewscuba.com) They have their 4th annual freediving spearfishing torament scheduled for June 12th.

Also Jean Marie Dive Charters (http://www.jeanmariedivecharters.com) has the 3ed annual Spearfishing rodeo scheduled for August 10, this is a scuba event off the boat out at Block island or Montauk.
