RFA on MLPA @ Fisheries Forum 3/26 in the Capitol Dome

The Joint Fisheries and Aquaculture Committee is holding its 36th annual Fisheries Forum this coming Thursday (3/26). I've been invited as a panelist on the subject of the MLPA, sharing the dias with Ken Wiseman of the MLPA Initiative, F&G Commission president Cindy Gustafson, and Kaitlin Gaffney of the Ocean Conservancy.

There will be opportunities for public comment and it would be great if fishermen showed up to voice our concerns about the budget, problems with the IPA, support for 2XA, etc...

that is the only day next week I have commitments.

I have been itching to talk about this very issue at the next viable North Coast meeting.
This sounds like a perfect venue for that.

That's okay, Tino - they are supposedly taking this MLPA stuff up at the next F&G Commission on April 8th in Lodi - we'll know for sure when the agenda comes out.
