Well, Aquaman strikes again. This time on Saturday (April 10th) in the blue waters off the Marquesas. This animal was shot in 80 feet. Yes, with a Pneumatic.

This Kingfish weighed in at 62 pounds!

Out of the lower keys in a twin enjine Contender towards the deeper waters off the Marquesas. Trip consisted mainly of recreational hook and line fishermen, but with a hard-core spearfisherman on board, the thirst for a hunt is never quenched.

Attached with a float line and Rob Allen Float. The King was shot about a dozen feet away directly in the spine, quickly debilatating his movements. From then on, it was over. The fish gave a total of 39 steaks distributed among everyone on board.

I'll try to have him finally join SB and become a member, particularly after this weekend. This way you can hear it directly from the "horse's mouth". However, he doesn't particularly like posting fish of himself or having someone else do it. It's just an impressive catch, especially for a spearo. Enjoy...

I was on my way to the Tortugas that day; wasn't the weather awesome? I shoot a pnuematic also; great to see such a fine fish shot with one. Pay attention f94gator:D.

As a footnote, Spearboard member Curt checked & he said the fish would have been a new world record for spearing. The old record was only 47lb. All the more impressive!
