After diving and fishing, my main use for a yak would be 2-3 day touring trips with occasional longer ones. When touring, i will be in an area that has zero fresh water, but plenty of fish( A.ka ten thousand islands). Right now i am looking at the prowler 15(slightly out of my price range), the scupper tw, and the rtm tempo. Which one would you reccomend for my activities, and if any of you sit on top tour, how do you load you yaks

I am hopeing to be able to pick up a Prowler Trident 15 next month. I wan't one with a rudder. It looks like it will be good for a limited amount of touring. ( I have never done any kayak touring) It looks like as close as I am going to get to a touring yak in a sit on top. My primary use is going to be as a dive platform which has more range than a malabu II. The only down side I have heard about is the weight it is a little heaver than the malabu II.

ive got the rtm tempo and i think its a really great sot i tie down one of the cylindrical igloo coolers in the tank well and theres lots of storage in the front hatch .for a plastic sit on top it really eats up the miles a,nd really dont bother with a rudder it'll just clutter things up and slows you down ps i added a seat pad of closed cell foam pm me if you need instructions
