yeah...come on tony....

i realize you're busy with things.....while it was neat having a 3 tournament series...if the original series suffers due to planning difficulties for all 3....that's not good.

some of us want more notice than a couple weeks.

personally I liked it better as a one time tournament.

Come on Guys,,, Tony's trying to get the magazine published, organize three tournaments, keep the Spearfishing Industry Alliance involved in regulatory issues and get his TV show picked by a network. Obviously these are all tall tasks and take a lot of time.

I'm sure when he get things finalized he'll put up a post.

IMHO I really liked the series. Pretty sure the rest of my team would agree

If you like one tournament, then what is there not to like about a series? It provides highly motivated individuals and teams multiple opportunities to win and even allows an additional level of competition by awarding a "best in series" awards (or what ever Tony calls it).

I attended two of the three comps and thought they were great. I couldn't make the third one, but who cares?

from past experience the prize table was 3 times bigger and the turnout was at least double if not more. it just seemed to be a much bigger deal when it was one single deal.

I had a good time at last years tourny, besides the huge delay for a needed reason. Otherwise the tournament and the layout was great! even the weigh-in place was great, it was a bit of a drive for me but oh well, they are not all perfectly centered which makes it great.

I will give it a once over and if I happen to find a ride that weekend, I may participate.
