Total bullshit if he is saying it was his spear and not his buddies.... No way the spear could bounce off a rock, spin around 180, and still have the force to penetrate that far into the head...

Covering for his buddy I think. Probably was coming around a rock just as his buddy squeezed off.....

BTW Wicked, when we going out to stab some fish??? I have a boat you know, just no diver buddies locally that have the same days off as me... I am jonesing so bad it isnt funny.. Last day out was 12/31 when my wife was here for a vist....

What days you have off? Im always in the mood to kill fishes...Monday and tuesday off EOW, and Fri/Sat/Sun every other week.. Of course, on the weeks I have Mon/Tues off, get off Monday morning, so a trip to TB and the work it takes is doable, but not the best for rest before going back to the hellhole, but again, going out on weekends also lends for more crowds...
You dive tanks or just freedive?? I really want to get out now that Groups are legal again, before the water warms too much.. Have a spot 18 miles out of Desoto that holds some nice grouper when it's still cool, but always holds nice mangos and hogs...

I think it is more of a "Cheney scenario" than anything... I guess the media folks are just not that bright.. Pretty easy to figure out it wasnt his spear, unless he was using some unknown "boomerang" spear we havent heard of yet.... :lol:

Im strictly a tank diver anymore...Freediving to too figgin hard! I always end up shooting my fish in the ass!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about the spear. Course How the hell do you get a spear to bounce back at you after it hits a rock. Mine just punch into it. You guys need to sharpen your tips. I need to get out and shoot some more too. It's been like 2 weeks since I've been out and I'm going nuts. I just made the last of my grouper tonight. I guess I stocked just enough.

The Dorado is NICE! Friggin flat screen TV, A/C and a bottom machine that will melt you if you swim under the boat... I could live on that boat for days and be cool with it...

I normally do not ask for split. I just ask that people bring some ice, food, drinks,(diet coke for me) and help clean the boat.

This is unless we are running hard 50 miles piled with gear and fuel is 4.25 per gal :)

So far the weather looks shitty till monday and I cant expect it getting any better tuesday or wed so we shall see
