I haven't posted a picture in ages so I figure I'd put a couple up and see if I remember how to do it.

A friend of our's was doing some work here and wanted to get a taste of Guam spearfishing so we took him out and had a pretty good time.

I shot the G.T. right under there noses (Kalei and Ron) as they were breathing up. I swear I didn't know they were about to dive.:cowboy: I dove down to around sixty feet and took aim at a small parrot fish and at the last minute I turned to look under a boulder and low and behold there were three uluas doing a merry-go-round pattern under the huge rock. I took aim and stoned the one I'm holding in the picture. I said to Ron, "Hey, there are some nice uluas down there!" He said, "I know ass@%$%!" They weren't too upset but they never let me forget it.

This was on wednesday the 6th. I shot about a 15 or 20 lbs. doggy and he put up a hell of a fight! We had some sashimi that was great and I breaded and fried the small bluefin trevally. My mom loves sashimi so it made a great mother's day gift.

What's up Kevin! Are you still in Okinawa? I met a bunch of eod and navy seals that are headed that way. I told them not to bother spearfishing because you already shot um all!:cowboy:

This trip was a late run. I thought it was canceled so I was on my way home and I got a call from Kalei asking for directions to our dock. I told him that his co-worker told me that he could not make it. He didn't know what I was talking about.

Anyway, we left at about 3:30 or 3:45 and finished at around 6 pm. Depths were around 60 ft. The spots we hit are kind of hit or miss. I forgot to mention it but on this day I saw about a 40 pound wahoo swim about ten feet below me while I was stringing up a fish. (that NEVER happens around here!) If only I'd been ready.

Oh yeah! Kalei shot an ulua that broke his line and ended up loosing his shaft. The shaft (undamaged) was found the next day by a scuba diver (Dave Pascerelli) and returned to Kalei. What are the odds of that!
