I just switched from a JBL 42 to a SS 52 commmercial. Now my powerhead won't screw on to the SS shafts. I've got a 357 powerhead. ANybody know where I can get and adaptor or have the threads bored and tapped? I can ship the powerhead to your shop if need be.

Your 52 Commercial should have 5/16 x24 threads. Without your thread size and pitch on your JBL shaft, I have to assume it is the common 6mm (same threads on an orginal JBL and Biller lineshaft).
Most spearo geared dive shops have the 6mm to 5/16 adapter. And they should have it both ways. Ex: 5/16Male to 6mm Female
and 5/16 Female to 6mm Male. Cost of a good SS adapter is probably $7 to $9. Cheap ones are less.
Now lock and load.

May be a problem if you use a Beco PH....they have really deep threads.

Scott,
If you're having trouble finding one, give me a call. I'll get one.

No problem with the Becos. Called Aquatic Obsessions, they have them and so does Fantasy Scuba. Hell, any spearfishing shop does.
Take it in and you'll be set. If you can't find one, let me know, I have a used one you can have for a beer. (miller lite please)
