Anyone in the Panhandle shooting the SBO ?

Is there anyone planning to enter the SBO and shoot local waters "Mexico Beach to Pensacola" ?

Letrappes and I both are if I get my boat fixed in time for it. It'll be down to the wire though.

The rebuild is done on my starboard engine and it has been remounted, but we are still looking for the glitch in the electrical that (we think) is triggering RPM reduction in both engines. We skipped a kinda cheap possibility, the spark plugs, earlier as it seemed unlickely to cause this problem. However my friend Marty has been having very similar problems with his boat, also a Century with a mid 90's yamaha saltwater series, and it turned out he had the wrong spark plugs in his engine somehow. We are checking that as soon as we get her back in the water and hoping that the last time I had it serviced something really stupid (but cheap to fix) happened.

If you decide to shoot it and are looking for another shooter let me know . I would much rather shoot around here where I have good numbers and local knowledge than the Middle Grounds .
