View Full Version : Best Bottom finder for your $$$
Just bought a 15' runabout out here in West Australia. All the GPS and Bottom finders are about double what you would pay in the state even when considering the exchange rate! Not to mention tI havent found many on the market
So here it is Im looking for a good bottom finder (all my old boats came with one that worked so I never cared). Probably looking to spend about $800 or less.
Whose runnning what? Pro's/Con's?

Hey Rob,
We put a Furuno LS 4100 on our old boat...(still have it for "back-up" for that matter). 5" screen, dual frequency, black & white...
Lotta value for the money.

Furuno make the best bottom finder for your buck. I dont know the model # by chance but it is color and it gets beat up on our 21 ft boat. We have had it for 8 years or more and it really gets slammed and holds up great. I think at the time we payed $800

Take a look at Bethel Marine Electronics website...they are in Rockledge FL, and have some real good regular prices, and specials too.
Good deal, thanks
Don hows the Seacraft running?
My new boat here is a "slight" down-size from that. Bloody boats are expensive here. I was lucky to get that one for $3,000 with a motor from the 1980's!
