Offshore trips!

Hey gang. I am going to start doing some scouting offshore to see if I can find some kelps that are holding fish around here. I am going out tomorrow to see if we can catch a few fish and will post a report of what we see. Hopefully there will be some fish to be had.

I am on the water right now. Right now we are drifting for sharks, but the water is blue and 66.8 degrees. I will give a full report later.

Alright, folks. I experienced an engine failure that day and now it is fixed better than new. Anyway, we didn't get too far offshore, but what we did see looked promising. Like I said earlier, blue, 66.8 degree water. Lots of bait and birds working that bait. Saw some small boils around the bait, probably bonito or big macks. Didn't see any kelps, but then again, we didn't do too much scouting on one engine. I was a little preoccupied with getting my boat fixed. I will probably do another trip like this real soon. I have a charter on Thursday and will maybe go out Friday looking. I will keep everyone posted on what I find. Thanks.

Thanks, Darren. I called you a couple of days ago to reschedule, but haven't heard from you. Anyway, a friend of mine went out today and out of the 8-9 kelps he stopped on, 1 had a few fish on them that he saw. He also said they were bigger models. I might go out tomorrow looking again. If I do, I will post a report when I get home.
