I can't wait to hear about Scott & Johns first trip on their new boat. It looks like they had a reasonable day weather wise. I sure hope they post tonight.

Details:
Water Temp: 58 (and I mean that)
Location: Tarpon Springs (270 bearing off south point of island)
Depth:60 to 70
Vis: 50 to 80 feet (you could see fish from surface)

Color:
Damn that water is cold. I forgot what it was like to dive inshore it has been so long. I have been hitting the grounds a lot and I guess I forgot that grouper will run from you (even though they were zombies). But they were on all ledges big and small. Every dive there were also commercial size jacks (36 inches to the fork) up to 30 pounds. The hogs were not as thick as hoped for but we still managed to get quite a few of them. Scott and Johns new boat is very nicley laid out and we did mange about 14 to 16 knots loaded to the gills and push through some rough water. we stayed nice and dry and warm to (my god that is nice). I am looking forward to Sunday.

The GagReflex needs XM radio.

I wonder if the Bucs game is on XM??

Seastalker, John actually took the photos yesterday, so I expect he may post some later.

We're getting the satellite radio, so that'll be coming soon. Personally, I've got to watch football. I have solved that problem by getting TiVo, which I have to say kicks ass.

totally off topic but what the hell.

Scott, do you use TiVo with your digital cable box?? If so, any loss of functionality??

Just put XM in my truck. I got a system half price, $99, just have to commit to six months of service. The comedy channel is hilarious!

Sounds like a good topic. I'll start it in off topic. :D

Well, I finally downloaded some pictures. Chris pretty much hit the nail on the head for the description. We basically limited out on everything except mango's, so it was a good day.

This next pic is of the boat on the ride in:

This next one is Chris (Financialadvis) and EJ (Deepfish) manning the helm:
