Longest breath hold....

In continuing with the topic let me ask whats your longest timed breath hold. Mine was 2 minutes 45 seconds (in a hot tub).

If you lie prone in a pool that has a comfortable temperature and "zone out" ......you would be surprized how long you can hold your breath. When I was 20 or 21 I used to be able to do 3:40......I'm 20 years older so I'm not real sure:D

A friend clocked me at 3:55 in a pool, but I haven't been able to duplicate it since. I can consistently do over 3 though.

Now: 3 minutes

Eventually, depriving my brain of oxygen for such periods of time will kill off one too many brain cells, but I can't think of a better way to go.
