Hey everybody i just got a kayak over the weekend and i dont know what to get yet to rig it for spearfishing. I have an anchor and i think 150' of anchor line, i know its a bit much, and i got some straps to hang my gun off the side. My question is what else do i need. i have a cobra explorer as bare as they come, no cool hatchs or anything, it didnt even come with bungies for the cargo area in the back. Should i get a A hatch installed in the front or what, any advice helps. O and maybe someone could show me the ropes on one of these upcoming weekends here in SD. Thanks in advance.

lots of places to tie stuff down ,if its not tied down its gone.make sure you have a way to secure your paddle ,you dont want to get back to the boat and find that gone one more tip you can paddle with your fins on

If you get an A-hatch you're going to need the center hatch, because chances are you won't be able to reach anything that rolls to the back kayak (though you really should get both hatches; they're worth it)

If you need a quick fix, just get several eyelets and a rivet gun to strap or hook your gear
