Mike F put some new lights on the trailer so we had to try it out and put the zap in the water right?

Quick zip over to spot one http://maps.google.ca/maps?client=firefox-a&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=49.296178,-122.923225&spn=0.004723,0.008594&t=h&z=17
We worked the bay from the bottom right to top left. Was between high tides about 2:30pm. Was wavy and vis was poor. The bay was about 3-4M deep. No fish, got two rock crab.

Mike wanted to move so we headed into Indian Arm a bit and found a guys bouy in front of his house. He said we can use it anytime. We hooked up right south of the little island and did a tour around it. http://maps.google.ca/maps?client=firefox-a&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=49.323115,-122.926219&spn=0.00472,0.008594&t=h&z=17
5 more rock crab and two dungeoness. No fish again. The west side of the islandette drops down to hundreds in steps. The east side was 5M max with plenty of rock crab. Might have been there a bit too late.

The second site was better by far.:thumps:

Gotta love the rock crab! Even If you don't see any fish, you can usually pick up enough for dinner.

Yeah but how many days in a row can a man eat crab? Going way out on the point in the morning. Only have my handspear until I can drill a hole in my new shaft.

why don't you drill that hole then? Even if you don't have access to a drill press, you could get a machine shop to do it for a few bucks.

I like points... they seem to hold fish.

Good luck, and post pics when you finally do get some fish
