Hopped in at low tide (14:30PST + 2 hours). Vis was 5M at times. Massive drop in rock crab due to the fleet of Salmon that moved into the area. Saw 3 pinks in the first hour. Was late in the day and light was low. Saw 3 decent rockfish but left them. One decent rock crab and left him too.
BUT.... we found a bay with about 2 million oysters in it as well as mussels and some hard to find bivalves. Best part is, you can walk to it from the cabin to get dinner in 3M water!
Not a great report but waiting for cabezons and greenlings to move up for fall. Hoping they open Ling on Oct 1.
