Spearfishing Cali Video

I just got the DVD Spearfishing the Californias from NorCal Freedivers. It's got some pretty amazing clips of WSB and a huge school of BSB. Not to mention San Benito's Yellowtail swiming around like they were topsmelt. The only thing lacking was some lobster action. A little pricy but definitely worth it. Boy does it make me wish I had a boat so I could get out to the islands consistently.

Yeah, it's a good video. Is that the one where it starts off with them ab diving? David Laird is not only a good hunter but a fine video producer. I got my video free: won it in a raffle at my first OCHunter mtng.! :D

yeah that's the one. I was wondering why he switches back and forth from wood guns to what looks like euro or rail guns? I guess he can't decide which one he likes better?

David uses the same gun throughout, al beit differenet sizes, the gun is a sporasub Viper elite. Sporasubs version of the rail gun.
Ive watched the vid so many times, man am I jealous.

the only bad thing about the DVD is that it is not separated into different "tracks"

so if you want to watch it... you have to watch it from the beginning as there is no "scene selection"
