3 Awsome days of Spearing

Just got back from Florida on my monthly spearing trip and had 3 awsome days of shooting. The Seas were almost like glass and the fish seemed to be everywhere. My best grouper was around 18# which came off a new rock a friend that commercial fishes told me about. I lost one that was quit bigger than the 18 pounder. We nearly shot our limits every day. Visibility wasn't the best but I have also seen worse.

Here is the stringer of fish I shot in about 10 minutes in 55 ft.

This was my biggest grouper of the day it was about 18 lbs. I shot it in 83 ft.

This was my 2nd best grouper of the trip it was 14 lbs. We shot several in this range.

Nice fish, were you diving off a charter boat, what port were you out of?

I was diving with my uncle. He does a little bit of commercial fishing for grouper. So he takes me out whenever I want to go. I went out of Panacea, FL. It is close to ST. Marks.
