You guys would have loved it!
Took 3 fat ones and came out of the water to be met by a group of fishermen who were complaining that they could get a damn thing. Frigging Mass. I watched at least 30 Stipers swim by and waited paitently for the Tog to swim in with the current. It hurt to let the Bass go but it is what it is. I kept telling the fishermen they are out there- they all just grumbled. One guy said he had been there for 2 days and had nothing but a haddock and a squid to show- I was in and out with a full stringer inside of 30 minutes....My wife is poaching filetts in white wine and tarragon tonight + asparagass- I grilled them whole last night served w/ red bliss and roasted tomatos.
It was a good day.
