Yeah, this virus has shut down any cable modem with a static IP and running SQL here in Tampa.

It was real fun talking with these people. They call up all pissed off, I tell them to turn off SQL and then they get all apologetic. These asses need to read the paper.

Luckily we only have couple of managed dedicated servers that were running sql 2000. I was able to get them patched and online with relitively little effort once i figured out how to install. Never have worked with sql before so was a little wary at first. iI did have to spend most of my night lastnight babysitting colo customer while they patched out thier boxes. But when the virus was launched it shut down our backbone for a while and i still have customers calling in . What a great weekend to have to pull call duty. (sigh) FYI I work for a local ISP
www.sagonet.com , we do just about anything to meet a customer desires and needs. Dedicated, colocated , data storage, wireless internet for business, virtual hosting, design. If you in to this geeky stuff and are interested in checkeing us out send me a pm and we can set up a tour of our facility. Bonus is there is a hooters across the street.
