Lake Ouachita Thread

What happened to the camping weekend thread about Lake Ouachita? I went to Colorado for a week and come back and it's gone.

Can anyone clue me in?

I wonder if in my rush to get off to the Lake and my last minute check of the board, I have done something wrong ?:(
I had made a smart a$$ post aimed at some guys up in Waldron, Arkansas, (they were at Lake Ouachita, camped ar Big Fir, last week), these guys lurk the board, but won't register, then changed my mind and deleted it. Seems like it was on that very thread alright.:(
Alright, you Scott County Security Freaks, see what ya' done gone an' caused me ta' do !
They did however, bring some Tilapia fillets for us all to try, now if I could just get them to register on the board.

Hey jeffe,
How was the trip? Did you get to dive and spearfish alot?
I tried everything to get off and make that trip, but somehow, everything kept coming up and ruining my plans. I told my wife, next time i"m gonna go alone if I have to.

OK so when is the next trip? Maybe if I can start planning this I can get my mules all lined up:D

On a good note, my friends and I were talking about renting a houseboat in one of the lakes. I think we looked at Norfolk lake and found a houseboat that would sleep 10. We thought that would be a hoot, have a houseboat as a dive platform, with a little run about boat to go get air,etc. do they rent houseboats on ouachita? Something to think about.

I still say we need a weekend when a group of us can plan on an outing. See ya later.

There are about four different places to rent on Lake Ouachita. A lot of different sizes and plans.
One of my favorite things to do is spend a day diving the places that the rental boats frequent.
I find more neat schtuff the renters have lost.
It go's really quick when you stay geared up and move from site to site, diving with a underwater scooter !
I keep hoping to find a citizen Hyper aqualand, like Junior did in Ouachita.;)
