Thanks to everyone involved in putting on the Southern Open tournament this year. The prize table was great, and it was obvious that it took a lot of work to put this thing together. You guys must have arrived very early this morning. Now take your wifes out to dinner or away for a weekend for putting up with you, and helping out!

I hope you guys keep doing this because it has never been a better time to be a spearfisherman in Florida's Tampa Bay area. Three of the biggest and best spearfishing tournaments in the world are right here in our back yard. Life is good. :cool:

P.S.: Thank about how lucky we are as participants. All we had to do is pay a reasonable entry fee, shoot fish, drink beer, and then get a great prize....all on account of a small group busting their collective butts! Thanks again, you guys really deserve a big thanks from everyone.

I want to thank everyone that worked their butts off for the Southern Open, It was a great tournament.

This is a great year to be spearfishing with all of the great tournaments, I look forward to next Years Southern Open.

I was impressed with the way they took care of our men in uniform, and everything else.

It was a very nice prize table, I placed 23rd and still got a pair of nice ($500) Carbon Fiber Fins.

I figure I will eventually find a big fish that will impale himself on my gun so that I can get a dust collector:D

I agree with everything Scott said. It was an awesome tournament with terrific prizes. Special thanks to David, John, Tom, Lisa, Denny, all of the volunteers and the wonderful sponsers.
