Hi Divers,

For those who were not able to attend or tune in, here is a brief update from today's basic intro 'hello' and housekeeping meeting (archive version will be ready for viewing 48 hours following the meeting).

About Feb 16, the 8 submitted external arrays will be available for public viewing. People have publicly and privately asked me how they can help. Here is one way, when the arrays are posted, take a look at all of the proposals. Look at each of the MPA's, the info, rationale, reasonings etc. Please email what you like, don't like, need to see, needs to be added for allowances, etc. NCRSG_2010@yahoo.com

Additionally, the marine map is being updated and depending on what you already have on your computer, may need a google upload to see updates.

Updated mapping profile will be available next week too.

Safe diving,
Brandi

hi Brandi,
My name is Eric Kett, I was a stakeholder in the SoCal region. i thought perhaps for ease of updating your constituents you might wish to keep your updates on the same thread. Perhaps Joe (Zenspearo) could assist you with this and make it a sticky on the Regulations page. Each time you post to the same thread it brings it back to the top of the list. I am sending folks here to get in contact with you or to get updated with the NC process, you might find it more conducive to keeping all your updates together. Terry did a similiar thing for he and I. we called it a stakeholder log. towards the end we had so many folks involved it really was quite beautiful. Could you or have you posted a short bio on yourself? Maybe you could post the bio you sent to the MLPAI team for your selection as a stakeholder as your opening on your "stakeholder log" if you so choose to do one. I am not trying to offend you in anyway, so please pardon my direct comments if they touch a nerve, they are not meant too. I am still active in our process here (socal) and find that many of the socal divers (including myself) travel to the North Coast to recreate and dive that very beautiful area. This process could severely impact that recreation opportunity. My family, on both sides, have traveled to this area for well over 50 years. Please let me know if there is anything I or others can help with.
Best regards,
Captain Eric Kett

Capt Eric,
No offense taken. I appreciate your directness and feedback. This is important for me to know. You are correct, people need to know more about who I am as your stakeholder representative. Info to come. And up until recently, I wasn't a frequent poster so I was unaware of tools better to communicate. ZenSpearo tell me more!
Safe diving, Brandi
