Hi,
I have a small quantity of the old style long RA bungees.
These are made from standard black latex tubing and filled with soft dyneema.

Available in various lengths.

Reason for selling?
These have recently been replaced by RA with a more UV resistant blue tubing.

I will clear these at approx 30% or lower of the original retail price.
If there is any SB interest I will list the various quantities, lengths and prices.

Thanks,
Mike.

Hi All,
I was asked in a PM whether these bungies floated?

The answer is no, as they are not air-tight and have very little internal volume as opposed to large bore tubing. They will sag slightly in water,

They are designed to be tied directly to a float as they stretch at least 400% (being made from standard latex tubing)

Situated between a float line and the float, they make an ideal shock absorber.

I have them up to 10M (around 32ft) in length and these will stretch way over 100ft.

Thanks,
Mike.

is there any fear of them not holding up due to the nonUV resistnace or is that a cosmetic thing?

Hi LB,
They will hold up well, but obviously the way you look after them will be a long term factor. Just like the bands on your gun.

Their value lies mostly in the dyneema inside the tubing.
After a few years, if and when the tubing goes, then replace the tubing and you are good to go.
The tubing is relatively inexpensive at approx $1/foot.
For a few bucks we could do that task for you at the shop.

Regards,
Mike.
