There are two hotels that are offering very special rates for The Blue Wild.

They are both owned by Marriott, and they are both offering an incredible price of $89 per room. Here are some facts to help you decide.

1. The "Courtyard by Marriott Ft. Lauderdale Beach" is in the heart of the action. This is where the Friday evening kickoff party will be. It's right ON the beach, and lots of bars, restaurants, nightlife in the area. Shuttles will be operating all day on Saturday and Sunday to the Convention Center which is two miles away. If you're a party animal and/or beach lover, this is the place for you. If you are flying in, you could take a taxi (to avoid parking) and use the shuttle to the Convention Center.

2. The "Renaissance Ft. Lauderdale Hotel at Port Everglades" is across the street from the Convention Center. It's not on the beach, but this is an upscale hotel and easy walking distance to the Convention Center. It's not on the famous "Ft. Lauderdale strip", but there are still several good restaurants within walking distance. If you want classy, quiet, and convenient, you might prefer this one.

Just a warning that if you are coming to the Expo and you know that you want a hotel room, I would reserve now.

We have run out of rooms every year, and you won't find this quality at this price anywhere else in the area.

Hotel room update....

They stop offering the great rate pretty soon and revert to the normal room rate (which is double). If you know you want a room, don't delay.

It's going to be one big party all weekend, people flying in from all over the world, and quite a few locals staying at the Courtyard on the beach too. You can party harder if you don't have to drive home!
