Took out my kayak this morning to Huntington Harbor and had a very fun few hours, caught multiple species and totaled 26 fish. All fish were CPR'd

shooting fish for the sake of shooting big fish

So I have seen pics like this time and time again and it bugs the shit out of me. I may be wrong and this guy will eat the fish but in all likelihood he is not. Why shoot monster roosters and other fish considered inedible by most. on H&L this is fun as hell to catch and release but spearfishing just so you can have picture with a big fish really? Btw roosters are relatively easy to shoot they come right up to you and check you out. I am sure if he did not get a kill shot it was hell of fight but for what. Is it just me or is this lame.

So my wife & I have been saving up for a VW bus since we got married 10 months ago. We saw a rad 62 Ford Falcon Van for sale on Craigslist for cheap & pounced. It's far from perfect w/some significant rust spots. Does anyone know of a good/reasonable place to get some welding done on the Falcon?

The wife & I are thrilled we got a new surf-mobile :) :) :) just need some work :o

I have a 91 gallon RDS auxiliary diesel fuel tank for sale. It was mounted in the bed of my truck inside the shell then into my garage.

It's been very lightly used. Has the optional fuel gauge.

These are $550 new without the fuel gauge. You can find these online but you're going to pay more than $170 for shipping.

Moving to long beach

Hey guys,

I'm going to be moving to Long Beach the first week of June, and am looking for any advice you guys can offer. The wife got a job at the VA hospital there, and we will be looking for advice regarding where to live, as well as a good daycare for our three year old daughter. I also am trying to set up a job for myself, I'm an ICU nurse, and am working with some agencies as far as travel contracts go, but if anybody out there knows which hospitals to recommend/avoid that would be great. According to the all knowing, all powerful internet, the air and water pollution in long beach are reputed to be pretty bad, so we're not sure where to start looking that won't be too bad of a commute. We would prefer to be close to the beach but are looking for the best overall quality of life, safety etc.

And of course I'm going to be looking for some dive buddies ASAP to teach me the ropes out there. I've been a majority scuba shooter over here in Florida, but look forward to some new adventures.

Thanks in advance, look forward to jumping in the pacific soon, just don't want to come out with a rash!!!:D
