Here are some images I took while I was freediving Ginnie Spring and Ichetucknee Blue Hole Spring in North Florida. I was there with my brother. If you haven't had a change to experience the Florida Springs, I highly recommend it to anyone! These places are also very family-friendly. I've brought my son and wife a few times.
All images where shot with a Nikon D7000, Tokina 10-17mm Fisheye lens, Nauticam NA-7000V housing with a Zen 100mm glass port.
However, I'm concerned that the sugar content would cause the heart rate to go up... effecting bottom time?
Thanks!

Does anyone know of any L-1 Freediver course in Florida the weekend of May 24? My brother and I want to take a course and that weekend is about the only one that works. He is new to freediving (over 30 ft..but he has many hours diving lobster in 20-25 feet), I have been freediving for a couple years, and I am comfortable diving up to 75ft. I was going to sign up for an intermediate course and bypass the L-1, but I do not think he is there yet, and would like to do the class together. Do you think taking the L-1 with him is a good idea? Will I get enough out of it being that I am comfortable diving deeper than the max class depth? I am not talking about the safety aspect (which I know is the most important part) because I will get that in both the beginner and intermediate classes.
